INTER-ORGANIC CONNECTIVITY AND EXERCISE. A NETWORK PHYSIOLOGY APPROACH.

Aquesta línia de recerca està centrada en l’anàlisi del grau de connectivitat entre diversos sistemes fisiològics durant l’exercici (ex.: múscul, cor, cervell), mitjançant l’anàlisi de forma simultània de senyals electromiogràfiques, electrocardiogràfiques i electroencefalogràfiques. L’objectiu final és dissenyar una eina de valoració funcional capaç de quantificar el grau de connectivitat interorgànica d’esportistes i pacients.
L’anàlisi de les interaccions entre els diversos sistemes fisiològics implicats durant l’exercici, pot complementar la informació oferida pels tests de valoració actuals en relació amb:
1) l’efecicàcia del procés d’entrenament.
2) la susceptibilitat del sistema neuromuscular per a patir una lesió.
